Learning Targets: I will learn: 1. How to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish on the topics of natural disasters and medical emergencies. 2. How to conjugate and utilize regular and irregular verbs in both the the Preterite and Imperfect tenses to narrate past events. 3. How to use Reflexive Pronouns, DOPs, and IOPs to reduce redundancy in speaking/writing. Today in class we took the Natural Disasters & Medical Emergencies unit test. After the test, students received one final vocab list over the Mayan Unit and students worked to complete this vocab activity and this Word Scramble. Thursday, November 30th Learning Targets: I will learn: 1. How to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish on the topics of natural disasters and medical emergencies. 2. How to conjugate and utilize regular and irregular verbs in both the the Preterite and Imperfect tenses to narrate past events. Today in class we took the writing portion of the Natural Disasters/Medical unit test. Students were allowed to use their vocab lists and their Preterite vs. Imperfect notes to write their stories. Students recorded their stories using the Language Lab System. Once the writing was finished, students finished the assignments from yesterday: 1. Today in class we went over the Double Object Pronouns Activity sheet from yesterday and then practiced the 5B Vocab in a Quia activity. 1. Once you finish the online practice students completed this double object pronouns sheet. Tuesday, November 28th Learning Targets: I will learn: 1. How to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish on the topics of natural disasters and medical emergencies. 2. How to conjugate and utilize regular and irregular verbs in both the the Preterite and Imperfect tenses to narrate past events. Today in class we took notes over IOPs (Indirect Object Pronouns). Here is the powerpoint with the notes. We then completed this practice sheet. We then read Ch. 6 and 7 of "La maldición de la cabeza reducida." Monday, November 27th Learning Targets: I will learn: 1. How to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish on the topics of natural disasters and medical emergencies. 2. How to conjugate and utilize regular and irregular verbs in both the the Preterite and Imperfect tenses to narrate past events. Today in class we read Ch. 5 of "La maldición de la cabeza reducida." After reading we answered the questions in the orange packet. Next, students received a new mini vocab list and we defined this new vocab sheet over Medical Emergencies. Students then worked on this activity for the rest of the block to practice Ongoing Actions in the Imperfect with Preterite Interruptors. Comments are closed.
