Learning Targets: I will learn: 1. How to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish on the topics of natural disasters and medical emergencies. 2. How to conjugate and utilize regular and irregular verbs in both the the Preterite and Imperfect tenses to narrate past events. Today in class we went over pages 4 & 5 in our Preterite vs Imperfect packets. I answered any final questions and then students took the Preterite vs. Imperfect quiz. Lastly, we watched Extra Episode 6. Thursday, November 16th Learning Targets: I will learn: 1. How to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish on the topics of natural disasters and medical emergencies. 2. How to conjugate and utilize regular and irregular verbs in both the the Preterite and Imperfect tenses to narrate past events Today in class we completed TPRS Day 6. Today in class we started by going over the answers to pgs 6-7 in your packet. Next, students took the quiz over Ch. 1-4 of "La maldición de la cabeza reducida." Next, students used their laptops to complete this Preterite vs. Imperfect activity: www.quia.com/quiz/8370505.html and lastly students finished the Ch. 5A crossword that was given yesterday. Tuesday, November 14th Learning Targets: I will learn: 1. How to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish on the topics of natural disasters and medical emergencies. 2. How to conjugate and utilize regular and irregular verbs in both the the Preterite and Imperfect tenses to narrate past events. Today in class we completed TPRS Day 5. If you need to go back and read or look over any chapters, the PDF of the book is attached in CTLS! Lastly, students finished working on pgs. 6-7 from yesterday since they didn't complete it for HW. Monday, November 13th Learning Targets: I will learn: 1. How to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish on the topics of natural disasters and medical emergencies. 2. How to conjugate and utilize regular and irregular verbs in both the the Preterite and Imperfect tenses to narrate past events. Today in class we started a new TPRS story! Here is the powerpoint with the vocab & story. Next, we read Ch. 4 from "La Maldicio'n de la Cabeza Reducida." If you were absent you can find the PDF for Ch. 1-4 on CTLS (in the Resources section) to read on your own. We answered the comprehension questions in the orange packet. The packet answers are also attached in the Reources section of CTLS. You will have a quiz over La Maldici'on Ch. 1-4 on Wednesday this week!
