How to conjugate regular -AR, -ER, and -IR Verbs Today in class students took their first summative assessment writing. After the assessment students picked up their new vocab sheet and started to define the words. We also did this communication and conjugation activity. Lastly, students completed this Quia to review the conjugations of Regular -AR, -ER, and -IR Verbs as well as "Gustar." W06 - Reg. How to conjugate regular -AR, -ER, and -IR Verbs Today in class students were introduced to the annual Carnival research project and competition that the WL Department hosts every year. Here are the instructions with the rubric. I also mentioned that our first summative will be on FRIDAY this week! You will have to write on the topic of describing yourself as well as your friends and family. You will also mention your classes and what you do/have to do/like to do/ and going to do at school and in your free time. Tuesday, February 6th Learning Targets: I will learn... 1. How to conjugate regular -AR, -ER, and -IR Verbs Today in class we started by reviewing how to conjugate regular verbs to the present tense. Here is the powerpoint with the information we covered today. Students then practiced with the 3 infinitive phrases + the regular conjugations we have been working through with this sheet. After completing the translation sheet students had the rest of class time to finish their "Mi Familia Famosa" activity that we started yesterday. If your project isn't complete, finish it for HW and you will turnit in at the start of class tomorrow! Monday, February 5th Learning Targets: I will learn... 1. I used my own family tree as an example and then students started working on their own "Mi Familia Famosa" project. Here is the instructions and rough draft document.
