Learning Targets 1. I can identify and conjugate reflexive verbs in the present tense in both simple and complex sentences. 2. I can speak and write about my daily routine in Spanish. Today in class we started by reviewing Reflexives and went over the answers to #s 1-15 in the packet students received yesterday. We did a writing activity where we wrote out the daily routine of a character in a comic strip. Students then completed first 2 questions in each section on page 2 of yesterday's Reflexive packet. Next, we listened to the Sr. Wooly song, "No voy a levantarme" a couple times and we did the 4 worksheet activities (pgs 5-8) in the packet students got yesterday (fill in blanks, crossword etc). I can identify and conjugate reflexive verbs in the present tense in both simple and complex sentences. 2. I can speak and write about my daily routine in Spanish. Today in class we began with mini novel "Los Baker Van a Peru." Students received this vocab list and we defined the unknown vocab for the first 2 chapters. Next, we read the first 2 chapters of the book. See the Resources section of CTLS if you missed a day of reading. We also answered the question packet for Chapters 1-2. Lastly we reviewed reflexives and students completed #s 1-15 on the first page of this packet. Wednesday, April 17th Learning Targets 1. I can identify and conjugate reflexive verbs in the present tense in both simple and complex sentences. 2. I can speak and write about my daily routine in Spanish. Today in class we quickly reviewed how to conjugate reflexive verbs and then students continued to work on the assignments we started yesterday. Additionally, students practiced body parts vocab with this "Mi Monstruo" activity. Students turned in their work at the end of the block. Tuesday, April 16th Learning Targets 1. I can identify and conjugate reflexive verbs in the present tense in both simple and complex sentences. 2. I can speak and write about my daily routine in Spanish. Today in class we started by taking these guided notes on Reflexive Verbs (see page 2 of the document). Here is the powerpoint on Reflexive verbs. After taking notes, students worked on this vocab-activity where they wrote simple sentences and drew a picture. On the back was also this crossword puzzle to complete as well. If you did not finish the activity in class please complete the rest for HW. Monday, April 15th Learning Targets 1. I can discuss the seasons and weather as it relates to the activities we do and the clothing we choose to wear. 2. I can utilize DOPs (Direct Object Pronouns) in both simple and compound/complex sentences to produce natural-sounding language that reduces redundancy. 3. I can extend and respond appropriately to invitations and requests. Today in class we held the fashion show! After the fashion show we defined the vocab list for our next unit "Daily Routine."
