Learning Targets: I will learn... How to read and write in Spanish using simple sentences utilizing new and familiar vocabulary. How to conjugate stem-changing verbs & Regular -AR,-ER, & -IR Verbs. Warm Up - Translate: 1) I don’t like vegetables at all. 2) Y’all prefer (preferir e:ie) to not take the test. 3) The boy remembers (recorder o:ue) the vocab. Today students continued to work on their TPRS Story Project. See yesterday's post for the instructions and some sample stories. Here is the rubric you will be graded by. Students submitted their projects at the end of class. Today in class we started by taking the "Piratas" Ch. 4-7 Quiz. After the quiz, we talked through the TPRS Story Project that we will work on for the next 2 days. Warm Up - Translate: 1) Felipe thinks (pensar e:ie) that the pirates are talented. 2) The movie starts (empezar e:ie) at 8:20p.m. 3) The teachers repeat (repetir e:i) the instructions. Today in class we started by reading Piratas Ch. 7. If you were absent, go into CTLS and click on the Lesson Resources tab at the top of the class page for all the Piratas PDFs and resources. We also previewed the vocab & answered the questions in the tan packet. Next, students took their quiz over TPRS Days 4-6 and Regular Verb Conjugation. Today in class we reviewed TPRS Days 4-6. After reviewing we went over the answers to yesterday's stem-changing verbs sheet. Next, we read "Piratas" Ch. 6 and answered the questions in the question packet. The final part of class we used our computers to prepare for our quizzes this week. 1. Here is the notes powerpoint that explains what stem-changers are and how to conjugate them. After taking notes, students completed this sheet to practice our new skill.
