Learning Targets 1. I can discuss the seasons and weather as it relates to the activities we do and the clothing we choose to wear. 2. I know the Spanish demonstrative adjectives and how/when to use them 3. I know the differences between Ser & Estar and when to use each in context. 4. I know how to conjugate and use the Present Progressive tense. Today we had a food day to kick off our parties and initiation unit. Thursday, March 28th Learning Targets 1. I know the differences between Ser & Estar and when to use each in context. 4. I know how to conjugate and use the Present Progressive tense. Today in class we started by going over yesterday's quiz. Then we went over the answers to the reading activity from yesterday and completed the communication activity on the back of yesterday's sheet. Then we finished taking notes over Direct Object Pronouns. Here's the powerpoint we went over today. Today in class we started with the grammar quiz over Present Progressive, Quedar, Demonstratives, Ser vs. Estar. After the quiz students worked on the first 2 pages of this activity pack (the 2 readings). Lastly, we started taking notes over DOPs (Direct Object Pronouns. Here's the powerpoint we started going through. We only got through the first couple of slides, though. Tuesday, March 26th Learning Targets 1. Today in class we started with a review of the grammar from this week with this powerpoint. Students wrote a brief skit that was presented just to me. Today in class we started with a quick vocab review and then we took the Clothing & Weather Vocab Quiz. When students were done with their quiz they worked on Ser vs. Estar on pages 7 & 8 of their packets.
