Learning Targets: I will learn how to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish on the following topics: 1. What are the causes & effects of global warning and various types of pollution on the environment? 2. What steps can we take as individuals and as a society to combat these environmental issues? 3. I will learn how to use subjunctive clauses of emotion and doubt & denial. Today in class we defined the new vocabulary for Set 2 of the environmental vocab. Here is the vocab sheet in case you were absent. You can get the definitions and study the words here: quizlet.com/_aepom2?x=1qqt&i=4ueq0 I also talked a little about the interview project essay and what will be coming up over the next couple of weeks. The last part of class we went to the computer lab and students either transcribed Part 5 of their Interview Project or they began working on their essays. I will learn how to use subjunctive clauses of emotion and doubt & denial. Today we did this reading on Coral Reefs. Next we watched a Brainpop en espanol video on Coral Reefs too. Then students took their vocab quiz over the Set 1 words of the Medioambiente unit. Wednesday, October 12th Today was the PSAT day, and class did not meet. See you tomorrow! We previewed the vocab and pre-read the script on this sheet. Next, we completed the listening activities for 4.2 on the subjunctive with doubt/denial. Lastly, we watched the 3 videos in this "Huella Verde" collection and discussed the ideas presented in the videos.
