Learning Targets: I will learn: 1. How to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish on the topics of natural disasters and medical emergencies. 2. How to conjugate and utilize regular and irregular verbs in both the the Preterite and Imperfect tenses to narrate past events. Today in class we began the TPRS unit on Natural Disasters & Medical Emergencies. Here is the TPRS powerpoint from today. Next, students took notes on how to conjugate verbs to the Imperfect tense. Here's the powerpoint with the Imperfect notes. Lastly, students worked on these 2 sheets to practice the Imperfect that they learned today. Here's Sheet 1 and Sheet 2. We will go over the answers tomorrow. Thursday, November 2nd Learning Targets: I will learn... 1. How to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish on the topics of outdoors and camping activities. 2. How to conjugate regular and irregular verbs to the Preterite tense (past tense). Today in class we took the unit test over the Camping/Outdoors vocab and the Preterite conjugations. Wednesday, November 1st Learning Targets: I will learn... 1. How to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish on the topics of outdoors and camping activities. 2. How to conjugate regular and irregular verbs to the Preterite tense (past tense). Today in class students presented their skits to conclude the Bear Story. Then, we reviewed for tomorrow's unit test. We completed the listening, reading, grammar, and writing activities in this packet. Here is the audio file for the listening part. Today in class we started by playing this "Velocidad" game to review the Irregular Preterite. Students then got back into their groups from yesterday to rehearse their skits. I looked over final drafts and answered any final questions. Students will present tomorrow! Then students worked on some digital review: 1. How to conjugate regular and irregular verbs to the Preterite tense (past tense). Today in class we warmed up by reviewing the Irregular Preterite conjugations with this practice sheet. Next, students read a cartoon storyboard in small groups and worked together to write the ending.
