Learning Targets 1. I can discuss the seasons and weather as it relates to the activities we do and the clothing we choose to wear. 2. I can utilize DOPs (Direct Object Pronouns) in both simple and compound/complex sentences to produce natural-sounding language that reduces redundancy. 3. I can extend and respond appropriately to invitations and requests. Today in class I passed back yesterday's writings and we addressed some general mistakes that were repeatedly made. We then quickly reviewed DOPs and students took their DOPs quiz. Students then worked to assemble their Fashion Show portfolios. The fashion show is Monday so be sure to wear or bring your outfit to class that day! Once the portfolios were assembled we organized and practiced the order that the fashion show will happen in on Monday. Thursday, April 11th Learning Targets 1. After the writing students made sure they completed both of the Quias that were assigned yesterday, but not everyone finished. Today we reviewed DOPs (Direct Object Pronouns) and how to use them in 1-verb and 2-verb sentences. Students completed these 2 practice sheets. Next, we discussed the Fashion Show Summative. The writing portion will happen on Thursday this week, and the actual fashion show will be on Monday next week. Here are the student groups and instructions. I know the differences between Ser & Estar and when to use each in context. 4. I know how to conjugate and use the Present Progressive tense. Today students took the RITA 2. If you were absent, please log into CTLS and complete it (look under the Assessments tab). We also talked about the Cultural Talent/Skill Demonstration presentation which will take place on May 10th.
