Utilize classroom vocab to discuss school surroundings. Warm Up - Translate: 1. The windows are far from the door. 2. The chair is behind the table. 3. I am in front of the class. Next, we reviewed prepositions, and students completed these sheets to practice Estar & Prepositions. El reloj está _____________ los carteles. 3. Las ventanas están ______________ los pupitres. Today in class we started with a round of Blooket to review the classroom and preposition vocab. Next, we watched this video to review the verb "Estar" (to be): www.youtube.com/watch?v=_t7_0bONbnM We then reviewed the Prepositions of Locations song that we learned yesterday, and went over the answers to the 2 sheets from yesterday. Next students then took some quick guided notes and practiced using "Ser" and "Estar" in context with this sheet. We went over the answers to 1-20, and if you didn't finish Part B 1-15 on the back, complete the rest for homework. Lastly, students worked on this sheet to practice classroom vocab and prepositions. Wednesday, April 10th Learning Targets: Today I will learn... 1. How to use the irregular verb "estar" to express feelings and locations 2. How to use prepositions of location to express where people and objects are. 3. Utilize classroom vocab to discuss school surroundings. Warm Up: Fill in the blank with the correct form of "estar" 1. What an infinitive verb phrase is and how to use them in sentences.
