Learning Targets: I will learn... 1. How to write and talk about healthy habits and eating disorders. 2. Use vocabulary related to health/medicine in regards to scientific discovery and innovation. Today in class we watched the cortometraje "Namnala" - Here is the script and the vocab/quesitons for the film. You can watch the film in CTLS, but I can't post it here. Next, we completed the final 3 Interpersonal Speaking activities from the Sci/Tech unit. (Clara / Jorge #4 / Juan - 2017). After completing the speakings we listened to what a 1, 3, and a 5 sounds like and talked strategy to how to better improve the speaking task on the AP exam. Thursday, March 2nd Learning Targets: I will learn... 1. How to write and talk about healthy habits and eating disorders. 2. Today we started class by reading this article on Tele-health and then we watched this little info movie on it. Next, we watched the cortometraje "Desconexio'n" Here is the document with the script, vocabulary, and questions. How to write and talk about healthy habits and eating disorders. 2. Use vocabulary related to health/medicine in regards to scientific discovery and innovation. Today we started with the cortometraje "Clon." Here is the script and here is the vocab/activities sheet. You can watch the film in CTLS, but I can't post it here. Afterwards, students completed 2 Interpersonal Speakins (Eulalia and Dependiente) and we talked about the prompts after. Lastly, we watched a BrainPop video on "El envejecimiento" (ageing). Tuesday, February 28th Learning Targets: I will learn... 1. How to write and talk about healthy habits and eating disorders. 2. Use vocabulary related to health/medicine in regards to scientific discovery and innovation. Today we took time at the start of class to make sure everyone is registered for the AP Exam - students studied their vocab if they were already set. Next, students received feedback on the emails they submitted before break. I went over some general recommendations and over this grammar errors powerpoint to help avoid making some of the most common mistakes in the future. The last part of class students took this dietary habits survey and we compared and talked through the results. Monday, February 27th Learning Targets: I will learn... 1. How to write and talk about healthy habits and eating disorders. 2. Use vocabulary related to health/medicine in regards to scientific discovery and innovation. Today we started class by watching 2 Brainpop en Espanol videos on "Los trastornos alimenticios" and "El peso corporal." After taking the video quizzes that go with each movie we then read the article: ¿Por qué fracasan la mayoría de las dietas? and talked about the topics related to the reading. Comments are closed.
