Learning Targets: I will learn how to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish on the following topics: 1. What are the causes & effects of globalization? 2. What steps can we take as individuals and as a society to combat these economic issues? Today in class we watched a documentary on the avocado industry across the U.S., Chile, and Mexico which addressed environmental and globalization issues associated with its growth and consumption. Thursday, November 17th Learning Targets: I will learn how to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish on the following topics: 1. What are the causes & effects of globalization? 2. What steps can we take as individuals and as a society to combat these economic issues? 3. How do I conjugate verbs to the Imperfect Subjunctive tense and how is it used? Today in class we completed these 3 listening activities. Today in class we went over last night's Imperfect Subjunctive homework and then read this article introducing Globalization. Tuesday, November 15th Learning Targets: I will learn how to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish on the following topics: 1. What are the causes & effects of globalization? 2. What steps can we take as individuals and as a society to combat these economic issues? 3. How do I conjugate verbs to the Imperfect Subjunctive tense and how is it used? Today in class we watched a brief grammar tutorial and took these guided notes on the Imperfect Subjunctive. Here is the powerpoint we went over today. What are the causes & effects of global warning and various types of pollution on the environment? 2. What steps can we take as individuals and as a society to combat these environmental issues? Today in class we finished up the Interview Project presentations. We then defined the vocab for our next unit "La Economi'a." Here is the vocab sheet in case you were absent.
