How to respond appropriately to the interpersonal speaking portion of the AP Exam Today in class we took the Reading portion of the "La Ciencia y La Tecnologi'a" Exam (Access and Use of Tech) Wednesday, February 15th Learning Targets: I will learn... 1. How to do the cultural comparison task on the AP Exam 4. How to respond appropriately to the interpersonal speaking portion of the AP Exam Today in class we continued practicing the cultural comparison task of the AP exam. Students were given this sheet which will help students organize their thoughts into Products, Practices, and Perspectives. We revisited the 2018 prompt on events that reflect our cultural identity and listened to what a 5, 3, and 1 sounds like and taught students how to evaluate using the rubric. We also practiced with the 2019 prompt on treatment of animals. Lastly, students did 1 formal practice on public transportation. Tuesday, February 14th Learning Targets: I will learn... 1. We looked at different types of relationships and the different ways love is shown to others. How to respond appropriately to the interpersonal speaking portion of the AP Exam Today in class we talked through the Cultural Comparison task of the AP Exam. Here's a document that explains what the task is. Students also received this phrase sheet to help them through the task. Here's an extra document that explains the task well. I modeled doing the task, then we practiced together, and then students did one on their own.
