Learning Targets: I will learn: 1. How to read, write, listen, and speak in Spanish on the topics of outdoors and camping activities. 2. How to conjugate regular and irregular verbs to the Preterite tense (past tense). Today in class we took the Preterite Quiz that covered regular conjugations, -IR stem-changers, i:y verbs, and Dar/Ver. After the quiz we used this document to preview the vocabulary and then watched Extra Episode 5. After the episode we answered the comprehension questions. Today in class we started by reviewing the Preterite one more time. We talked through any misunderstandings and made sure students felt confident for tomorrow's Preterite Quiz. Next, students completed 2 listening activities and the preterite practices on these sheets. Today we started by going over the answers to yesterday's Async Day sheets over Regular Preterite & -car/-gar/-zar verbs. Next, students took notes over some more of the irregular preterite (i:y verbs dar/ver, and -IR Stem-changers). Here is the powerpoint with the notes we covered today. We also started to fill out this graphic organizer with the parts of Preterite that we have already covered. After taking notes, students completed these 2 Quias: 1.
